Tamper-evident RFID devices combine a unique digital identity with a physical or electronically detectable indication of interference. Depending on the tag construction, an attempted removal may leave visible evidence, disable the tag or change a tamper status that can be checked using an RFID reader or an NFC-enabled smartphone.
